The Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), Assam Textile Institute, Ambari, Guwahati, organized a one-day incubation exposure visit on 26th Feb 2026 to Assam Start-up located at Ambari, Guwahati for its students.
The objective of the visit was to provide hands on experience of the start-up ecosystem and to familiarize students with the functioning and significance of incubation centres.
During the visit, participants interacted with officials of the incubation centre and gained valuable insights into various aspects of startup development, including the processes involved in nurturing innovative ideas and transforming them into viable entrepreneurial ventures.
The visit was coordinated by Ms. Anuradha Barman (Lecturer) and Mr. Khitish Hazarika (Senior Instructor).
Such initiatives are instrumental in fostering innovation, strengthening entrepreneurial competencies, and creating awareness about emerging startup opportunities among students.
